Dildar Khan

As a Program Manager, Mr. Khan provides day-to-day oversight of the IEGS operations, including program design and implementations, internal compliance and oversight as well outreach to and partnership with donors. Over his career, Mr. Khan has provided advisory and technical support to the projects of international donors such as UN, USAID and EU in fragile and-post conflict countries such as Afghanistan and Pakistan. Mr. Khan s career focus has been on the socioeconomic development of the fragile and conflict-affected areas. In this respect, he has led the implementation of USAID funded Project of Small and Medium enterprise development and EC funded Alternative Livelihood Project in Afghanistan. Prior to this, he has led the facilitation of first Parliamentary Election of Afghanistan within the framework of the United Nations. Mr. Khan brings divers thematic expertise to the IEGS such as the role of private sector in countering fragility and conflict. Mr. Khan interests are focused on economic governance and recovery in crises and conflict affected settings. Mr. Khan holds a master in Business Administration and Specialization in Macroeconomics and Economic policymaking. Mr. Khan is fluent in English, Pashto, Urdu and Persian.
